| Description | Tyldesley Gas Co was formed in 1849 and purchased by the Local Board in 1865. The works were opened on a small site in 1881. It became part of the Bolton - Radcliffe Group of the NWGB in 1949. There is only one item in this collection: a copy of a site plan of the works. |
