Description	View of open trench with multiple mains; legend "Linacre Works Outside Governor House Shows the 24in main leaving the governor house and split on a 24in x 18in cross to supply the Litherland and Walton districts. The northern governor therefore in the Linacre governor house now supplies the two districts of Litherland and Walton. In the bed of the trench can be seen the two mains from the Formby high pressure and Bootle low pressure supplies. These two mains were altered at a later date"; Ref M115
