Description
It sometimes happens especially in the domestic utilisation of of gas that the air for combustion becomes vitiated; thatb is the oxygen concentration of the combustion air is reduced usually by dilution with combustion products. In general vitiation of combustion air is a more important factor with natural gas than with town gas utilization
